The pleasing sweet treat has turned into a fashion statement and people are going crazy to create this breathtaking look.
Shelly Gregory, hair stylist and colourist at Atelier by Square Salon in Las Vegas, Nevada created this style inspired by the Laduree macaron and pastry shop in Paris.
The look also known as “candy unicorn hair” is not like a typical Rainbow colour and is really cool. The style suits best with the sparkly winter whites.

To create this look, Gregory hand-painted different hues of pastel colours, features seven colours, including purple, pink, peach, yellow, mint green, and silver in layers onto segments of hairs. “The colour stands out and looks trendy, but it’s still chic and approachable,” said Gregory.
“I went there [to Laduree] a few years ago and I remember loving the colour palette. Everything from the crown moulding and the way they display the macarons- it sticks with you, it’s kind of like Disneyland, where it’s magic. I wanted that feeling when you look at this hair”, said Gregory.
You can add a hefty dust of glitters to your roots for this holiday season. Mix glitter with the hair gel and apply this mixture with a blush brush or paint brush onto your roots for a party hair.
