Summer Fashion Trends for 2015

Summer is upon us and everyone’s question is, what to wear? What to wear to my favorite BBQ, a day out with the girls, an evening out…. no worries dolls, I have all the answers and more of some of the most sexy and sassy fashion summer trends and how to wear!

What To Wear For Summer 2015

Flatforms: This new shoe trend became popular on the streets and then made its way to the runway. You can see these fashionable shoes through the likes of DKNY and Maison Margiela. Not only are these shoes unique, but they’re comfortable and add just the right amount of height.

Sportswear: Another street style trend, it’s now cool to be sporty. Using cool fabrics like mesh in bomber jackets and vibrant color palettes, sportswear adds a whole new level of cool edge to your look.

Crop tops: Crop tops are the newest way to show a bit of skin without being too revealing. Pair a crop top with high-waisted shorts for a more casual look, or a pencil midi skirt to dress it up. These come in all different styles, from bustier tops to matching crop top and skirt sets, which are very feminine.

Gingham: This pattern has been seen all over the Spring Fashion week from Michael Kors to Altazurra. This is a classic chic pattern that can enhance any look, whether it is an elegant blouse or modern dress.

Khaki: A classic staple, khaki has come back for summer in full swing. Whether it’s in a modern military silhouette or safari style, khaki can be worn to give you a more modern take on a traditional style.

Jumpsuits: Whether you pair this with a blazer for a 70’s look a la Bianca Jagger or just wear a tribal print for a more summer-friendly casual look, this is bound to be a staple in your closet for the next 3 months. Back To School Savings at Ebay.com! Kimono: This piece has been a huge trend this past spring and is making its way into summer. This is a great staple to wear as a sweater for those nights that might be chilly. Kimono’s that have fringe on the bottom add a more bohemian vibe to your outfit as well. This is the perfect thrown on for many outfits!

Nautical: The cape-cod, nautical style is back in season for this summer. You can go full-on prep with chino shorts and loafers or just wear a navy blue blazer.

Metallic: Which do you prefer, silver or gold? Either way, metallics are back for the summer in a big way. A pretty metallic top or even shiny pants are a great way to dress up your look for a night out on the town. Mixing metals in jewelry is another fun trend following the metallic hype! Why wear one, when you can wear them all?

Long tutu skirts: It’s every little girls dream to be a ballerina right? Now you can with a little piece of that dream by wearing a tutu skirt with your favorite crop top. This skirt adds a feminine feel and girliness to your look, without being overbearing. Whether it’s a mini or midi-skirt, you’re sure to look super girly and chic!

Mix of patterns: What was often considered a no-no in the fashion world, is now the hottest trend. Mix polka dots with stripes for a high-fashion outfit that is sure to catch everybody’s attention. Mix it up!

Sheer black: Black was a major color on the spring runways and it’s back in full swing for summer. Sheer black adds sexiness and edge to any outfit.

Bold red: Red is definitely a strong color, and wearing it this summer is the perfect way to make a statement. A red dress is a sexy choice, and a red pencil skirt adds edge to your professional look. Wearing white jeans? Pair red pumps with them to amp up your look. Red is not only for the holidays dolls!

What summer fashion trend 2015 will you be rocking this season?

SWIMSUITS WORTH THE WEIRD TAN LINES FOR SUMMER 2015

As I get older, I become less and less afraid to take risks and try new things – especially when it comes to style. Whether it’s a bikini or one piece, there’s no reason to stick to what you’ve worn in the past. There’s no better time than now to try a daring new summer look, even if it does mean flaunting a few out of the ordinary tan lines throughout the season.
Swimsuits Worth the Weird Tan Lines | michellephan.com
1. Mesh Contrast – A bikini comprised of alternating mesh like the RVCA Cross Back Bikini is sexy without quite bearing it all. Don't forget Check out Ebay discount code, Ebay promo code, Ebay redemption code July 2015 for saving!
2Tassle Triangle – Forget fringe, this Tassel Triangle Bikini Top allows you to accessorize your swimwear with no effort at all. Pair it with bejeweled bottoms for a glam look.
3. Strappy Bandeau – Summer’s most fun colors contrast with jet black in this bustier-style one piece.
4. Kitten Fever – Like the pieces in my kawaii fashion roundup, there’s nothing wrong with adding a little cute to your daily style! And what’s cuter than kitties AND cupcakes like the ones in this ModCloth bikini? Kitties and cupcakes displayed on a retro style swimsuit, of course.
5. Color Block – Taking color block to a new level, this Brazil Bandeau is cut out on the sides and back. Sure, your tan will also be a color block, but it’s worth it to be able to flaunt this on the beach.
6. Racing Stripes – Another color block style, this pastel swimsuit top mixes sexy and sporty with a strappy racer back. It’s also available in a hot pink combo.
7. Versatile One Piece – With the option to go straps, halter, or without, this Minkpink one piece has it all: a supportive underwire busy, mesh side panels and a dreamy floral pattern. Who says one-pieces are boring?
8. Negative Space – Another tempting one piece for all you bikini lovers, the angular cutouts of a swimsuit like this Shirred Waist Swimsuit offer a modern, geo-inspired twist on a classic ruched style.
9. Sporty Spice – Sporty two pieces aren’t just for swim meets. If athletic is your go-to swimsuit style, amp it up with a killer color combo (peach and mint, anyone?) and fun text or graphics like this Mermaid bikini.

Fashion On Point: Lime Ricki Swimwear

lime ricky swimwear review my beauty bunny simplyveganlicious

Press-SampleCruelty-Free Fashion Swimwear

Vegans can struggle with a number of areas in fashion, usually in the areas of anything made of leather shoes, bags, watches, etc. Luckily, swimwear isn’t one of those areas! Still, I’m happy to support a great indie company like Lime Ricki and show off some of their adorable styles for your next trip to the beach.
Lime Ricki prides themselves on providing slightly more modest options when it comes to swimwear. Let’s face it, a lot of swimwear these days takes the “itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini” a bit too literally in the “itsy bitsy teeny weeny” department! Lime Ricki’s line is stylish, bright, fun, and just plain old adorable, while still offering a bit more coverage for those who desire it. They offer a number of mix and match styles, pairing tankini tops with a variety of bottoms. They also offer a great selection of one-pieces, all of which are current and stylistically up-to-date.

I tried on the Double Ruffle Navy One-Piece. This suit was a winner with me – it boasted great fit, quality, and style. I’ll be straight with you: I used to be a plus size model and usually wear a size 14 (I wore an XL in this suit.) It doesn’t have any underwires, so I think smaller chested girls will do best with this style. (The suits are available starting size XS.) The bottom was tight enough to not ride up on me while I ran and played. And honestly…those ruffles on the stomach proved the perfect camouflage for my little belly. This was a really unique style that works well for women of any size.

I really love some of their other styles as well. The peplum one-pieces are a great way to camouflage a belly. And I REALLY love the idea of being able to mix and match my swimwear! The bottoms come in briefs, shorts, and skirts. You’ll be able to a two-piece set for about $80.
Lime Ricki swimwear really does have something for every figure and every style.Happy shopping and happy summer! In addition, you also shop hot swimwears at Ebay.comGet Up To 60% OFF Fashion Outlet + FREE Shipping at eBay.! Limited time only! Redeem the Ebay coupon code june 2015 and save!
