With back to school on the horizon, it’s time to start thinking must-have accessories. Who still gets excited even if they’re not in school anymore? You’re not alone! While backpacks are an absolute necessity for those in school, if you’re on the go a lot, carrying one is much better on your back and shoulders than a heavy handbag anyway.  But just because it’s a necessity or better for you doesn’t mean it needs to be boring. I combed the internet for the best backpacks the 2015 school season has to offer, and let’s just say it’s easy to make a statement this year.
Back to School Statement Backpacks

When choosing a backpack for daily wear, comfort should be your biggest consideration. Brands like Hershel (#1), Vans (#3) and Baggu (#8) make comfort and quality possible without totally throwing off your back to school fashion game. Beyond comfort and size, it’s also a good idea to think about your daily outfits. If you love patterns and prints, you might want to go with something like #5, to balance out the look. It could also round out a preppy look, whether or not you’re decked out in your school uniform. But if you’re like me and love to change up your style every now and then, you could invest in one of the more practical backpacks (that still pack a punch, of course), and maybe splurge on an extra one for those days you want your style to really turn heads. As you can probably guess, Topshop’s pink fuzzy backpack and the Nasty Gal holographic drawstring are NOT your average backpack! No matter what you go with, just make sure it fits at least a few of your books!

Fall Fashion Trends 2015: THE LOOK 70S REVIVAL

Fall and Summer are here and there’s no better time to try on a new trend. Even if you decide to go back to your own classic personal style when school is in session or the weather changes, there’s always Fall to look back on as a time you took risks and just kept things carefree. Going on adventures is one of the best things about Fall after all, and your style should reflect that. The latest look I’ve noticed that even those with the most subdued of styles are giving a try is bohemian 70s revival. There are three main ways to channel this vibe.

There will always be those prints and patterns that scream 70s, like paisley and multi floral, for example. This Fall, these vintage prints are being plastered on contemporary pieces like mini dresses, jumpsuits and even a tailored pant. And it’s not all the quintessential 70s colors, like earth tones, rust and cheery yellows, either. This time around, these loud and playful prints are seen in spring pinks and even pale blues, giving you the chance to take the best of an old style and make it new again.

Sure, some eras didn’t seem to find fit a vital consideration in fashion, and there were certainly styles that really have no need to make a comeback (except costume parties of course), but some of the best 70s fits are here to stay years later, in 2015. Not only are they flattering, they’re totally eye-catching. Both the first and third styles above — a flared mini dress with bell sleeves and a loose, sheer blouse — are made for the bohemian goddess, while the middle style is playfully casual, just begging to be paired with a pair of platform sandals. 70s revival breathes new life into fits that werealmost perfect, but required that modern update.

If you’re not falling head over heels for this trend, just the mini dress or flared pants will do. But if you really want to go all in, one or two iconic accessories will let the vitnage influence be known. You can also opt to make one of your accessories an authentic vintage piece like with these sandals — there are so many vintage stores online and boutiques in cities everywhere to scout out the best additions to your collection.
The biggest bonus to trying a vintage style is that you really can pick and choose. You don’t HAVE to look like you walked straight outta the ’70s to kill it in these pieces — though you certainly could make that work too. What new style will you try this Fall summer?

Summer is upon us and everyone’s question is, what to wear? What to wear to my favorite BBQ, a day out with the girls, an evening out…. no worries dolls, I have all the answers and more of some of the most sexy and sassy fashion summer trends and how to wear!

What To Wear For Summer 2015


Flatforms: This new shoe trend became popular on the streets and then made its way to the runway. You can see these fashionable shoes through the likes of DKNY and Maison Margiela. Not only are these shoes unique, but they’re comfortable and add just the right amount of height.



Sportswear: Another street style trend, it’s now cool to be sporty. Using cool fabrics like mesh in bomber jackets and vibrant color palettes, sportswear adds a whole new level of cool edge to your look.

Crop tops: Crop tops are the newest way to show a bit of skin without being too revealing. Pair a crop top with high-waisted shorts for a more casual look, or a pencil midi skirt to dress it up.
