GOODBYE CONTOURING, HELLO STROBING

Have you ever noticed how some of the trends you thought would be fleeting end up sticking around for years? Contouring is definitely one of them. All of those not-so-human looking contouring before photos seemed less than applicable to real life, but if you’ve read my last post on contouring, you know that there are plenty of powders and creams to help you get a more defined look without going way overboard. Still, the whole contouring routine isn’t for everyone – especially not those who want a lighter, brighter look.
Goodbye Contour Hello Strobing
The solution? Strobing. Strobing is a newer-than-contouring highlighter trick that’s everywhere right now because it’s basically half the work of the contour, without lacking the polished look. The difference between the two is actually pretty simple: strobing is the highlighting half of contouringonly. No blending of dark and light or piling on various products. It, as you might imagine when only using highlighter, creates a brighter, more glowing look – think sunkissed and glowing, and even a little dewy. It’s one of those more au natural looks – the kind that appears effortless yet dimensional, and needless to say it’s perfect for spring!
You can pull off strobing with a variety of highlighters like Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter, or Benefit’s Watts Up. It’s also helpful (especially for novice users) to have a highlighter kit or trio like ModelCo’s trio or powder compacts with multiple shades. Highlighting is a whole world of makeup products, so this trend might just help you discover a few new faves. eBay offers Up To 75% OFF Mother's Day Sale + FREE Shipping. Valid until May 8th, 2016. Click here
Because highlighter is generally used to define certain areas of your face – you won’t be skimping on a flattering look by going sans-contour. Instead, you’re JUST focusing on those areas – cheekbones, brow bone, forehead etc). Easy enough, right? Just make sure to test out different products – the amount of shimmer and shine can vary greatly from product to product, and everyone has a different preference on the amount of “glow” they get with their look.

10 NECESSARY BEAUTY RITUALS THAT LOOK INSANE TO OUTSIDERS

Lately I’ve been thinking of the things we do for our beauty and skin care. Although it sounds superficial, caring for your skin and expressing yourself through makeup isn’t all vanity – many of the questionable beauty rituals we perform are about keeping skin healthy, happy and fresh. Of course, some are just fun too. Here are 10 beauty rituals that actually offer results – no matter how crazy they seem to onlookers!
ten beauty insane crazy rituals
1. Steeping some tea bags only to let it cool and press on your eyes as a de-puffer when you got no sleep the night before.
2. Covering up your face with folded, lotion soaked tissues for a DIY sheet mask.
3. Using a business cardas a stencil when perfecting your cat eye.
4. Covering your fingertips in Scotch tape in an attempt to slay your nail art. Precision is key!
5. Before you know it, it will be time to break out the bikinis and hit the beach, meaning DIY savvy beach bums everywhere will try applying cool chamomile tea bags to their bikini line to offset the irritating effects of shaving. Find great deals & eBay Coupons 90% OFF Code, eBay Redemption Code, ebay coupon 10, ebay 10 discount coupon, ebay promo code $10 off on eBay store
6. Layering a dab of Vaseline on eyelids in order to achieve a high gloss beauty look.
7. Taking a cue from Japan’s greatest anti-aging secrets by investing in a facial massager that is said to firm up skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Or, you could always dabble in face yoga and perform a few face-firming moves.
8. Mixing up a few sprigs of fresh rosemary and thyme for the ultimate shine enhancing hair rinse that may even enrich color and beat dandruff. Why not save a few herbs for tea while you wait?
9. If you’re truly daring when it comes to trying the latest skin care trends, you might experiment with ditching the body wash in favor of a more natural approach.
10. Anyone with fine hair should be armed with a few thickening tricks up her sleeve. You might even be so passionate about obtaining thicker looking hair that you blow dry with your head upside down, brushing out the strands to give it as much lift as possible. (See all of my tricks for making fine hair look thicker here.)
Maybe a lot of us do have a few silly, and sometimes impractical, habits when it comes to maintaining our beauty, skin and hair. But it’s all in good fun. Who doesn’t want to experiment and explore new things every once in awhile, anyway? Save this list for your next girl’s night and enjoy the process!

6 HAIR & SKINCARE PRODUCTS YOU CAN STEAL FROM THE BOYS

Let’s talk about a trend that the tomboy in all of us can appreciate: borrowing from the boys. In the fashion world, ladies have been upping their game by rocking menswear styles, from boyfriend jeans ( shop jeans at eBay.com and use eBay coupon codes, eBay discount code for saving) to plain white T’s. Now that we’ve swiped a few looks from their closet, we might just want a few things from their bath shelves too. In fact, some of the best skincare and haircare out there are technically geared toward men. But as we know by now, just because something’s marketed toward a man or woman doesn’t mean everyone can’t or won’t benefit. These areas in particular…
beauty products to steal from the boys
Wake up call – If you need an energizing scent in the morning, try L’Occitane Men’s Verdon Fresh Water Shower Gel. The spring water fragrance, captured from the ice-blue Verdon river in France, invigorates your mind, while the gentle formula cleanses and nourishes your skin. And for all you multitaskers out there, this doubles as a shampoo that leaves your hair feeling light and smelling fresh.
Bumps be gone – Razor burn and bumps are issues that both ladies and gents have to struggle with, so it’s not surprising that you might get better results with your BF’s Black Mach 3 Razor from the Art of Shaving. Three super sharp blades slide smoothly over skin and the weight is perfectly balanced to fit snug in your hand and prevent slippage in the shower.
Prime time – Just like the guys do, it’s important to moisturize after you shave. Nivea Men’s After Shave Balm, formulated with chamomile, vitamin E and provitamin B5, is ultra soothing for sensitive skin with a calming scent. But here’s a pro tip: this balm doubles as a primer for makeup too! Try applying it as an undercoat to extend your makeup look throughout the day.
More hydration – With a formula that’s packed with vitamins and moisture-retaining chestnut extract, Kiehl’s Facial Fuel moisturizer is another product you might’ve brushed off in the mens’ section… Just ask yourself – would a guy wear a heavy, greasy moisturizer? Nope. The ultra lightweight texture and subtle scent leaves skin feeling oil-free, refueled and revitalized.
Sweat it out – Women’s deodorants often have amazing scents, but sometimes, not enough staying power. If you’re headed to a workout sesh and need a deodorant with as much endurance as you have, try Old Spice’s Pure Sport line. With 24-hour protection, it lasts beyond the gym too — and you have a choice of 4 different scents.
A tousled look – Ever see a guy’s perfectly tousled hair and wonder how on earth he achieved it? There has to be a secret behind that just-rolled-out-of-bed look, and it might just be this thickening grooming cream from Every Man Jack. A small amount goes a long way with this cream, bumping up the volume on your hair without that dry, crispy look. You’ll get the natural bed head look in seconds flat.

WANT PERFECT EYELINER? TAKE A LESSON IN CALLIGRAPHY

You know when you finally pull off a perfect cat eye and all is right in the world? We owe this rarely accomplished feat to one art: Calligraphy. Calligraphy has been recognized as a visual art from in societies all around the world, and all of the modern reincarnations of this art proves just how stunning it can be. In today’s world, calligraphy is generally seen on gorgeous works on paper and of course, digitized for all to see on blogs and social media. But there’s also another form that calligraphy takes, one that uses humans as the canvas. This artful display of letters and ink now has a hold on the beauty industry too.
How Calligraphy Has Influenced The Beauty Industry
When I first thought of calligraphy and makeup, the first thing that came to mind: the cat eye. Winged eyeliner is often applied with a liquid liner brush or felt tip eyeliner pen, which are often modeled after calligraphy pens and brushes. Take the now famous Make Up For Ever 400 Calligraphy Brush, from their artisan brush range. Used for everything from creating the perfect cat eye (when paired with a gel liner) to brow touch ups to bold blips, the triangular shape makes it precise yet versatile—exactly why calligraphers use this shape in their lettering work. Save Up To 65% OFF eBay Today's Top Deals + FREE Shipping. Click here
As mentioned, felt tip pens, like the Hourglass Calligraphy Liquid Liner, are another result of makeup artists inspired by calligraphy. It’s obviously nice to have the liner and applicator in one, but the real sell is that it creates the perfect liner flick (without smudging) – one of makeup’s great mysteries. Of course, calligraphy isn’t just for the purveyor of the cat eye. If you’re more experimental with your eyeliner game, you can use choose from different sized pens to perfect styles like the shooting star, graphic and divergent line designs I’ve shown how to create in this post. Other, small eyeliner brushes (Stila La Quill comes to mind) allow you to pull off a range of tricky feats, like a killer bold wing and a delicate tightline.
So, we’ve covered the basics, with eye brushes and pens, but calligraphy has influenced the beauty industry in countless ways. Other luxury brands like Christian Louboutin have created entirely new products based off of calligraphy’s precision and 3D effects. This Lip Definer may be a beauty splurge, but it just goes to show what you can do when you get truly artistic with your makeup look.
When it comes to calligraphy and makeup, it’s all about the applicator. If you have even half of the patience of a calligrapher, you can allow that drama and romance to influence your everyday looks. Keep this in mind when experimenting with liners, lip pens and even shadows. Art, inspiring as always!

WARM EYESHADOW: A HOW-TO GUIDE FOR THE COLOR SHY

One makeup trend that seems to be everywhere this spring is the warm eyelid. Eyeshadows in warm hues – reds, magentas, and pinks – have been making their mark on the runways and in magazines alike. Some are bold and bright, like Sugarpill’s Love Plus. Then there are the softer, more romantic colors like Iridiscent Fuschia from Make Up For Ever. Find great deals & eBay Coupons 90% OFF Code, eBay Redemption Code April 2016 on eBay store
But how does this style translate to our everyday makeup routine? When we’re so used to naturals, metallics, and blues, wearing warm eye makeup can seem daunting. But this daring style is actually pretty easy to rock, as long as you apply it with a few vital techniques in mind.
how to wear warm color eyeshadow
Prep your eyes. The biggest concern with warm color eyeshadow is that you run the risk of your eyes looking red and puffy. To combat that, use a fast response eye cream to de-puff both under the eye and on the eyelid, like First Aid Beauty’s Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel Cream. The quick absorption will have you primed and ready for makeup application fast, plus it’ll help prevent the dreaded oily eyelid. This way, you’ll start off with a refreshed and neutral canvas.
Prime your skin. If you’re going bold with a bright, warm color, the last thing you want is for it to fade away and look smudged or unintentional. Prep your lids with an eyeshadow primer that gives you a seamless surface and an uber-strong grip on the shadow, like Nars Pro Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base. No creases or caking here!
Line your lids. Makeup is about working in layers, so before you apply color straight to your eyes, make sure to line lids with a neutral shadow or pencil first, which will help brighten your eyes. Plus it’ll blend the brighter color better so you won’t have a chalky, stark streak that could look a bit unnatural.
Choose your brushes. Selecting the right brush for the right job is essential for this look. You’ll want to start with a flat tapered brush, which picks up a lot of color, for the initial base application. Later, you’ll need a fluffier, rounded brush for blending. Sephora’s collection has an awesome brush set with one of everything you’ll need.
Apply the shadow. The key to rocking this look? Applying it the right way! Using your flat tapered brush, apply the color along the lash line only. It’ll look really vibrant and colorful – the perfect base for blending the color onto the rest of the your eye.
Blend, blend, blend! Now take your rounded brush and feather the shadow toward the corner of the eye. This blending technique will create a gradient of color from your lash line towards your brow line, for that perfectly-blended look.

HOW TO COMBAT BRITTLE NAILS

It can seem like with weak, brittle nails, you either have them or you don’t. And if you do, it probably seems like just one of those things you have to deal with (and hide via frequently polishing!). But nothing can waste a fresh mani like brittle nails that chip or split. Thankfully there actually are many ways to combat this issue, you just may have to try a few to find what works.
beauty 911 how to combat brittle nails
Start With The Cuticle – Healthy nails truly do begin at the base of the nail, the cuticle, so cuticle care is key. Working a cuticle cream into your nail routine… Even the classic Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream might do the trick or a treatment like Deborah Lippmann’s, can make a difference. Check out eBay coupon code 10% off, eBay redemption code, eBay coupon codes for saving now!
The Olive Oil Trick – If you’re looking for a natural, organic remedy this is a great option. For weak nails that never seem to grow thick enough, try soaking them in a small bowl of olive oil for 10 or 15 minutes once a day for a month. After you soak, massage the oil into your nail and cuticle to help increase the blood flow and promote growth to your nail.
Supplement Your Diet – If you’re not getting a daily dose of leafy greens, a vitamin might just be the best route to strengthen your nails. Brittle nail syndrome is real and it’s typically caused from a lack of moisture, iron, zinc or calcium. So, multivitamins with vitamins and minerals like these might just solve the problem – and any others you may have.
File Right – The direction in which you file your nails can either make or break it – literally. While sturdy nails might be more resistant to the back-and-forth nail file motion, this just causes brittle nails to break more easily and possibly even split. Protect your nails from metal files and stick with using only emery boards if you can help it. You can also try out nail conditioners and strengtheners like this nail hardener when in recovery mode.
Ditch the Acetone – I know, but it really gets the job done. Well, if you have weak nails, you might want to stay away from overusing nail polish remover. If you use more than twice a month, this can also be detrimental to the health of your nails – especially those with harsh chemicals like acetone.
Be Patient – Hate to break it to you (^_^) but there’s no instant fix. In order to see the results you really want, it’s going to take some time. It can actually take up to three months before you begin to see a difference, but once you do you’ll be glad you took the time to invest in the health of your nails! Remember – good things come to those who wait.

THE BEST ROSE BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Flowers have always been a symbol of beauty, and rightly so. While there are endless types of stunning perennials, roses constantly top the list. They’ve been used ceremonially and medicinally for centuries. That’s not solely because of their exquisite beauty, but rather their beneficial properties. Loaded with antioxidants and vitamins, roses have astringent properties, moisturizing properties, anti-bacterial properties…the list continues. So it makes sense that rose beauty products are on the rise.
Because many rose beauty products include rose essential oil–and it takes quite a few flowers to make a high concentrate–they tend to be costly. Luckily, there are some products that don’t break the bank and allow you to reap the benefits of these beauties. Even a sensitive nose can handle the sweet fragrance of these 6 rose infused skin care products.
Rose Beauty Products
Herbivore Coco Rose Body Scrub – Body scrubs are often the product you never knew you needed until you have it and this coconut and rose scrub is proof. You could DIY a similar mixture (shout in the comments if you’d like a tutorial) or you can give Coco Rose some time in the shower. Your arms, legs–everything–will feel so nourished, you’ll be able to skip your daily moisturizer. You can also just use on your hands for a boost of hydration and a cuticle refresh. Save Up To 90% OFF Daily Deals + Extra 10% OFF eBay Sales & Coupons. Redeem this eBay 10% off coupon for savings now!
Aesop A Rose By Any Other Name Body Cleanser – Oh, Shakespeare. The thought of true invigoration often falls short with products that smell artificial and feel dense. Aesop’s body wash is the product great showers are made of. The botanical-rich formula is loaded with hints of pepper, cardamomum and of course, rose petal. A small amount goes a long way, leaving you feeling energized and oh so feminine with the lingering hit of blossoms.
Thayer Rose Petal Witch Hazel – Witch hazel is an astringent often used as a toner after washing your face. While it tightens, the added ingredients in Thayer’s version helps nourish and soothe the skin (there’s aloe vera!). Using organic and natural ingredients to amplify our beauty routines is something I’m doing more and more–with this fan favorite, you get all the goodness you need at a crazy low cost.
Korres Wild Rose Daily Brightening and Refining Buff Cleanser – Use Herbivore on the body and Wild Rose on the face. This cleanser gently exfoliates the dead skin off of your face while helping the texture and tone of your skin. Thanks to the vitamin C within, your skin will look more radiant. The all-natural formula can be used daily, but I’d recommend every few days, especially if you’re using another exfoliation method regularly.
Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum – Like all of these Korean beauty products, Aromatica’s don’t disappoint. Applied after washing your face, this daily serum hydrates and fights back against fine lines. You can even skip toner, because this baby tones on its own. And like many of the products above, it’s all natural.
Rosebud Perfume Co Minted Rose Lip Balm – It wouldn’t be a rose list without using this cult classic. We don’t even need to talk about how many times Rosebud Salve and variations has been included in a list. Because really, it’s that good. The Rosebud Perfume Co opened in 1895–they’ve had a long time to perfect their products. This particular formula is the ideal blend of peppermint and rose and will not dry out your lips or lead to a dependency!

5 ACCESSORY TRENDS YOU CAN’T IGNORE THIS YEAR

It may not feel like it yet, but spring will be here before we know it, and that means a whole new season full of opportunities to revamp our wardrobe and experiment. I’ve recently noticed a few of the trends that have emerged briefly in the past are quickly becoming fashion staples. This year, they’re better than ever. These jewelry and accessories are just too cool to ignore…

Accessory Trends

1. Pearl Collars

Thin gold chokers with a pair or trio of pearls are starting to replace the statement jewels and layered necklaces we saw last year. It’s a minimalist approach that looks delicate and intentional, rather than loud or bold. This accessory would look beyond chic paired with an all-white outfit!

 2. Cuffed Jewelry

Cuffed jewelry always seems to be a trend in some form or another, but this year they have endless potential for designs. Take the embellished cuff above by Portland-based Betsy & Iya, which has a sleek brushed gold look from the front and a tiled triangle pattern when worn open-faced. With a sophisticated gold cuff as a jewelry staple, you can’t go wrong.

 3. Embellished Fedoras

Floppy hats, fedoras and Panama hats made waves last summer, and you guessed it – they’re here to stay (no matter the season). Should you find yourself hopping on the trendy hat train this year, try one with a bohemian braid or, like much of the cuff jewelry, one adorned with gold or brass chains.

 4. Chain Headpieces

A simple headband is no longer enough! If you liked any of the above, you’ll love chain headpieces. Often wrapped across and around your head, this accessory is part-hair, part-jewelry, part-hat – all at once. Some people opt for the boho style, while others choose ones with gems or a comb for a dressed-up version. It’s a tough one to pull off as an every day look, but if you love the chains – I say go for it!

5. Holographic Accents

I think the holographic vibes are definitely going to replace all the glitz and glitter: they’re rad, wearable and a little space age. What’s not to love? From out-there holographic clutches to shiny hologram-covered shoes, it’s not everyday you see someone rocking this trend. But when you do, it’s always someone whose style is on point.

DIY TEXTURIZING SEA SALT SPRAY

It might not be beach weather just yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sport a gorgeous beach-inspired hairstyle, right? Texturizing hair sprays are a great way to add a little oomph to lifeless locks or boost fine hair in order to give it more volume and energy. If your hair is straight, a texturizing spray can help give it lift, plus hold waves if curled. If your hair is already wavy, the spray can breathe life into dull strands.
DIY sea salt spray via Michelle Phan
There are tons of these types of sprays out there, but if you have the ingredients, why not do a little DIY? Not only will it save some much appreciated $$$, you can customize the intensity (how much salt used), whether it’s moisturizing (by adding leave in conditioner) and the scent too. Here’s a recipe to use as a guide:
(makes 1 mini bottle – for full size, triple the ingredients)
1/2 tsp – 1 tsp sea salt (coarse salt shown for illustrative purposes, you can grind it up or use fine)
1/2 tsp coconut oil, liquified
1/4 tsp diluted sunscreen or UV/heat protectant spray ( Get eBay coupon code 10 percent off and more eBay redemption code for saving! )
1 drop essential oil for fragrance

DIY Sea Salt Spray for Hair

1. Boil enough water to fill bottle 3/4 full, add in salt and add to bottle.
2. Add liquid coconut oil to moisturize. Note: You can use another oil instead, but if using coconut, make sure to store in a warm enough place that it doesn’t solidify!
3. For this, I added just a small amount of UV protectant spray. This is optional but if you’re trying this hairstyle out in the sun, you’ll want the protection. Adding leave in conditioner is also optional if this spray feels too drying, but too much can combat the texture.
4. Try a drop of essential oil if you prefer a fragrance. Grapefruit smells delicious and summery! Make sure to keep this to a minimum… A little goes a long way.
5. Once all ingredients are in, shake!
Test it out with a few spritzes while going through your daily routine to get a feel for any ingredients you might want to add or increase. You want to strike a balance of tousled and natural, not unruly and stiff! And if you find that it looks nice but doesn’t keep a hold, there’s no harm in topping the look off with a spritz of your favorite hairspray.
And if you’re not into DIY or just want to compare your creation to another product, you’ve got options:

BEAUTY FIRST AID: THE PRODUCTS THAT FIX TIRED DRY SKIN INSTANTLY

The first day of spring was a few days ago and that means one thing: spring cleaning. When the temps start warming up and the flowers start blooming, we want to freshen up our houses, our wardrobes, and of course, our skin. We all know that the dry, harsh climate of winter can make skin feel dull and tired. So how to fix it? Well, you can hydrate all you want, but drinking water alone won’t totally help you achieve that springy glow (see how I debunked this myth here). So I break out my first aid kit of super-hydrating products that come to your skin’s rescue with their moisturizing power.
beauty first aid products to fix dry skin
1) belif First Aid Anti-Hangover Soothing Mask – This gel mask from the much-loved Korean beauty brand belif works wonders for stressed skin. Ultra-soothing herbs like chamomile and lavender reinvigorate skin and leave you with an energized glow. The best part? It’s an overnight mask, so you’ll start your day feeling calmed and refreshed.
2) First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Lotion – If it’s the skin on your body that’s feeling dry, try this lightweight lotion from First Aid Beauty. The calming properties of colloidal oatmeal combined with white tea extract and shea butter work together to create a barrier that locks in moisture and make your skin feel smooth again. It’s so hydrating that it even works great for anyone with skin conditions like eczema. And for those with allergies, good news: it’s fragrance-free. Created for use in warmer temperatures, this lotion is a lighter-than-air version of the Ultra Repair Cream, another (much creamier) pick for serious cases.

THE BEST PLACES TO BUY BEAUTY PRODUCTS ONLINE

I think we can all agree, the internet is often a pretty amazing place. Where we once had to go to a makeup counter to see the newest beauty, now we search Youtube then have our favorite e-tailors deliver even the most obscure items to our door–free of worry that the color pay-off will disappoint. There are more options than ever–Sephora always a go-to–but these 6 websites are amongst the best to buy beauty products.
Buy Beauty
Peach and Lily – If you’re looking for the best of Korean beauty products, Peach and Lily is where it’s at. The site carefully curates their entire catalog, having visited factories and businesses abroad to bring the most effective beauty products stateside. It’s often these very products that deliver when no others can.
Beauty.com - You could spend all day on this site thanks to the breadth of brands they carry. Tied to drugstore.com, you can make purchases to both sites, buying beauty at every price point imaginable. Plus, the benefits might just compete with Sephora–you get 5% back on every purchase, gifts with purchase, free samples…the perks don’t stop!
Violet Grey – This site is the mecca of luxury beauty. They carry an array of high end products, as well as obscure skin care from around the globe. When you’re having a splurge moment, you can find a bottle of Tom Ford African Violet nail polish or Thermal Cleansing Balm from the Hungarian brand Omorovicza. Each product is reviewed, tested and written about for the most thorough shopping experience ever.
eBay.com and Target.com – Let’s be real, we don’t always need obscure beauty. Sometimes, our tried and true favorites are found at the places we frequent. But if we can’t get to the store, eBay, Target beauty are there. The website’s offerings have expanded drastically. With classics and a whole new generation of organic/vegan beauty brands, you’re sure to find something you want for barely nothing.

1. Steeping some tea bags only to let it cool and press on your eyesas a de-puffer when you got no sleep the night before.
200 deals for under $200 available at eBay!

A good springtime coat is kind of like Captain Ahab's white whale: something we're constantly chasing after but is incredibly hard to find. It needs to be lightweight enough to handle warm April days, but warm enough to handle freakishly chilly nights. Instead of turning towards a trench coat, we're thinking outside the box. From duster coats to jacquard wraps

Your Guide to Spring 2016's Freshest Denim Picks

Five items you need to add to your closet ASAP.

You've done the classic denim jacket, culottes, and button-front skirt. Now it's time to take things to the next level with some fresh cuts. Shop at eBay.com and use eBay redemption code april 2016, eBay discount code for saving!

Ahead, five of our favorites.

IF YOU LIKED CULOTTES, TRY WIDE-LEG JEANS

Culottes were everywhere last season. And while the silhouette is still going strong, it's time for something new. Enter wide-leg jeans: The casual cut will look great with a one-piece swimsuit on the way to the beach and with a bodysuit for cocktails afterward.

Frame Denim Le Culotte Jeans, $245; farfech.com

H&M Oversized High Jeans, $60; hm.com

IF YOU LIKED CUTOFFS, TRY GYM SHORTS

If you're into distressed denim, try the same style but with an elasticized waistband. Featured in ChloƩ's spring 2016 collection, these shorts offer a similarly chill look, but with athleisurely appeal.

One Teaspoon Anarchy Outlaws, $116; oneteaspoon.com

ChloƩ Frayed Denim Shorts, $550; net-a-porter.com

IF YOU LIKED CLASSIC JACKETS, TRY WORKWEAR JACKETS

Give your standard denim jacket a break and try a workwear jacket instead. The iconic style is cut to look a little more masculine and streamlined, allowing for a sleeker, cooler vibe.

Gap 1969 Denim Jacket, $70; gap.com

J. Crew Denim Workwear Jacket, $138; jcrew.com

IF YOU LIKED KICK FLARES, TRY CROPPED STRAIGHT LEG JEANS

Just when your eye has adjusted and started loving kick flares, we're throwing another style at you. Decidedly more flattering, the lean straight-leg jean is great on many body types. We're obsessed with Re/Done's reworked denim, but these Raey jeans will also do the trick.

Stella McCartney Supreme Blue Skinny Kick Jeans, $375; stellamccartney.com

Raey Raw-Hem Boyfriend Jeans, $178; matchesfashion.com

IF YOU LIKED BUTTON-FRONT SKIRTS, TRY MICRO MINI SKIRTS

The button-front skirt had a real moment last year, and while we still love the look, there's a new mini in town. Actually, this isn't new at all. The micro mini denim skirt is probably what you wore in the early '00s, but it's making a comeback. Skip the going-out top you used to pair it with and style your skirt with a sleek button down and simple flats instead.

Topshop Moto Indigo Button Skirt, $55; topshop.com

Saint Laurent Repaired Mini Skirt, $890; ysl.com

Fashion Looks to Rock This Festival Season part 2

9. Light + Summery: Just because you’re going to Coachella doesn’t necessarily mean you have to buy a brand new outfit (although we’d totally support that too). It’s becoming more popular for people to wear their regular summery clothes to concerts, making life a whole lot easier for us. (via Her Campus). Save Up To 90% OFF Daily Deals + Extra 10% OFF eBay Sales & Coupons. Redeem this eBay coupon codes 2016 for savings now!
10. Chic + Simple: The combination of black and white is dy-na-mite! (via Salsit)

11. Floral Dress: There’s something very Zooey Deschanel-ish about this outfit. We think it may be the floral dress and the hair. (via Salsit)

12. High Low + Denim: That’s right. We’re bringing the LBD to festival fashion too. Is “rocker chic” already a thing? (via Salsit)

13. Simple Jersey Dress: If you’re not all about that extravagant fashion, we’ve got you covered. A jersey dress and a pair o’ Chucks is always a safe bet. (via All About the Style)

14. Pattern Queen: Feeling in touch with the world today? Take a cue from its fashion and try out some new patterns! (via Fashion Gone Rogue)

15. Sleek Black Jumpsuit: This jumpsuit is both cute and a hoot. We’re lovin’ it. (viaRefinery29)

16. Feminine Lace: Ah, the lace trend. So classic. (via Fashion Gone Rogue)

17. Red Hot Vest: That’s a killer red vest. We want one now. Also, combat boots are always a win for protecting your little toes from getting trampled. (via Free People)

18. Awesome Printed Pants: A bold choice for a person with bold music taste. (viaFree People)

19. Crop Top + Printed Pants: Unleash your inner hippie with this breezy pants and crop top combo, complete with peace signs. (via Free People)

20. Flowy Floral Top: It can get pretty hot during festival season, so a breezy top like this one might be a good idea. While it may seem like booties and summery tops don’t go together, this gal has proved us all wrong. (via Free People)

21. Printed Flowy Mini: This outfit is so adorable. We can barely speak. (via Elle)

22. Striped Maxi + Knotted Top: We love our maxi skirts, especially when they’re striped and paired with a pop of color. All you need is some arm candy (aka lots and lots of bracelets), and you’ll have the perfect outfit. (via Elle)

23. Bright + Printed Strapless Top: It’s the girl’s version of that ugly Hawaiian shirt your dad just won’t throw out. But in this case, it’s not ugly at all. (via Elle)

24. Wide Stripes + Floppy Hat: This striped and beaded duo is so great. We may borrow it to wear throughout all of spring and summer this year. (via Elle)

25. Flowy Top + Arm Candy: Denim shorts are a summer and festival season staple. They can do no wrong! (via What Dress Code?)

26. Crop Top + Plaid Skirt: This has got to be one of our favorite outfits on the list. That cute plaid skirt and simple crop top are like two peas in a pod. (via Vogue)
